PartsHTS helps importers and parts sellers find the likely US tariff code for engine, vehicle and motorcycle parts – spark plugs, ignition coils, chains, bearings, tires, batteries, wiring and more.
Where the data comes from
Tariff lines and general duty rates come from the Harmonized Tariff Schedule of the United States, published by the US International Trade Commission (hts.usitc.gov). The site covers 22 headings relevant to these parts, not the whole schedule.
How the AI lookup works
Your description is first matched against the tariff lines by keyword. An AI model (run on Cloudflare Workers AI) then picks the best matches from that shortlist only and explains why – it cannot invent a code that isn’t in the schedule. If the AI is unavailable, you still get the keyword matches.
Important
This is a research aid, not customs or legal advice. Classification depends on the exact product, its material and its use, and the importer of record is responsible for it. For a binding answer, ask a licensed customs broker or request a ruling from US Customs and Border Protection. Additional duties (for example Section 301 tariffs on goods from China) are not included in the rates shown.
